Tune In: Our Year 6 Leavers Radio Shows Are On Air!
Over the last month we have been visiting primary schools across Torbay, we're excited to share that our Ocean Youth Radio: Year 6 Leavers Radio Shows, are ready to be broadcast!
These special shows give Year 6 pupils the opportunity to share their memories of primary school, their hopes for the future, and their thoughts and feelings about making the move to secondary school.
Every show has been created by the young people themselves!
Broadcast Schedule
Roselands Primary School – Monday 20th July at 2:30pm, repeated at 6:00pm
Kings Ash Academy – Wednesday 22nd July at 2:30pm, repeated at 6:00pm
Oldway Primary School – Friday 24th July at 2:30pm, repeated at 6:00pm
You can listen live online or through the free Ocean Youth Radio app, available on the App Store and Google Play.

Ocean Youth Celebrates Pride!
Ocean Youth is Heading to Torbay Pride 2026!
We're excited to announce that Ocean Youth will be attending Torbay Pride on 13th June!
As part of the day's events, we'll be joining the Pride March, which takes place from 12pm, travelling from Princess Gardens to Torre Abbey Green.
You can also find our Boom Bus at Torre Abbey Green throughout the event. Stop by and get involved with a range of creative activities, including:
🎧 Try your hand at DJing
🎙️ Experience live radio broadcasting
🎨 Leave your mark on our community graffiti wall
If you can't make it to Torbay Pride in person, you can still join in the celebrations by tuning in to our special Pride-themed radio show at 1:00pm. Hosted by Daisy and Grace, the show will explore the history of Pride and highlight some of the individuals who have helped shape the LGBTQ+ rights movement. They'll also be sharing their favourite LGBTQ+ representation in film, television, music, and other media, celebrating the stories and voices that continue to inspire communities around the world.
