What we do?
Ocean Youth Saturday Live
Our Winner Street studios are open every Saturday to 11-16 year olds. It’s a space for young people to create, socialise, and broadcast shows on topics they love.
We offer six one-hour slots throughout the day for young people to book into. After joining us and attending an initial half-hour taster session, they can then start booking full slots, becoming part of the Ocean Youth live radio line-up for the day.
Saturday Sessions are popular and often fully booked weeks in advance, with young people eager to secure their slot.
Led by our experienced staff team, these Saturday Sessions give young budding presenters a real platform to build confidence, develop essential skills, and find their voice.
We reach out to young people through schools and events we've partnered with, focusing specially on those who will benefit the most from the opportunity.
