Live at Deller's- Paignton Ibis
Young musicians Issy Carlisle and Lewis Jackson are the first Sound Communities artists to perform at Deller’s in the Ibis Styles at Paignton seafront. Issy and Lewis will be playing on Saturday afternoon 12th July between 12:00 - 5:00 that afternoon. Both Issy and Lewis write and perform music shaped by life in the Bay, and both have received widespread support and acclaim from fans, venues and festivals like.

Lewis recently performed at the prestigious Torbay Business Awards. A singer songwriter with a love of catchy hooks and acoustic guitar, Lewis says,
“Join me on the 12th July at the incredible Deller’s for music to suit all tastes – a few covers you may or may not know and a few originals you definitely don’t know but might love!”

Mental Health Awareness week: 300 Seconds Podcast
It’s #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and while the week is a brilliant opportunity to spotlight wellbeing, we know schools and colleges support young people with their mental health all year round.
To help with that, Torbay’s Sound Communities and @oceanyouthradio have created ‘300 Seconds’- a free, youth-led mental health podcast made by young people, for young people.
Each short, five-minute episode covers a key topic like anxiety, self-esteem, sleep, or social media, offering:
